Ashanti Regional Students Representative has been adjudged the Regional SRC of the year at the just ended maiden NUGS Excellence Awards held at the nation’s capital.
The ARSRC received the award to crown a very successful year of solid students activism and empowerment at all fronts.
The impact of the ARSRC has been felt by all students in the region in the area of academics, sports, students leadership and advocacy, entertainment, students empowerment among others.
The Ashanti Regional SRC continue to create avenues and opportunities for students to justify it’s formation and continual existence.
The Ashanti Regional SRC currently partners multimedia group to deliver the High School Debate Competition. The Council has also re-branded it’s quiz competition which is now Ultimate High School Quiz with partnership from Uktimate FM And GhOne TV.
The Council also partners other media houses to deliver the Ashanti Top 8 Soccer competition which has become famous as the most lucrative soccer competition at the SHS level.
The Council delivers the annual TALEFEST competition which is geared towards encouraging the talent and gifts of students in varied literary works.
The Council continuess to empower students through orientation and seminars to build leaders for the future of mother Ghana.
The Council is grateful for the support from the Association of Past Executives and Coordinators, the Regional Director of Education, Patrons, Heads of institutions, the Regional leadership of CHASS and the entire students of Ashanti for this feat.
