This year’s Ashanti Regional inter school Soccer competition has been rescheduled again following a clash of the commencement date with a scheduled division one match at the Baba Yara stadium.
Asokwa Deportivo Football Club are scheduled to play their division one league game at the sane venue on Thursday 16th January, 2020. This has prompted the Schools and Colleges Sports Federation of the region to reschedule the kick off date of this year’s Ashanti Regional inter school soccer competition to the following day Friday the 17th January. The postponement by one day therefore affects all other fixtures will move a day forward to the next day.
The quarter final matches will now take place on Thursday 23rd January while the semi finals will happen on Friday the 24th January. The third and fourth place match takes place on Monday 27th of January, 2020 at 12:00pm while the grand finale is scheduled for 3:00pm that same day.
The Soccer competition was moved from the first semester to second semester following the failure of the National Sports Authority to agree a deal with the Federation over charges for the used of the Stadium facility.
