The Immediate past Literary Group Patron of Juaben Senior High School and now the new Assistant Domestic Head of Tepa SHS, Mr. Zackaria Abdulai has been appointed unto the board of directors of the National Film Authority (NFA) by the President of the Republic Nana Akuffo Addo at a shirt ceremony organized in Accra.

In a letter signed by the Chief of staff of the Republic, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, the 14 member governing board released the names of the board and subsequently, the body was inaugurated yesterday at the Jubilee House in Accra.

The governing body of the National Film Authority is under the Chairmanship of astute film maker Mr David Dontoh with Assistance from actress Juliet Asante.
The body is tasked revive the film industry and develope code of ethics for the industry.

Mr. Zack as he is affectionately called has been at the fire from of film production for over a decade directing various Kumawood movies and championing the interest of the film industry. He is the immediate vice President of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG).

Mr. Zack dominated the Literary Group drama category with Juaben SHS for a very long time. He was the brain behind the amazing drama by Juaben SHS during the finals of the 2019 TALEFEST final hosted at KNUST SHS. Juaben SHS placed 2nd in the Drama category.

He was just appointed the Assistant Headmaster of Tepa SHS about a month ago and it’s expected to transform the LG of Tepa SHS, the school of the moment.
Mr Zack took keen interest in film production and the movie industry after his close association with the Literary Group wing of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council and transformed his experience into professional film production with many of his works spread across the length and breadth of the country.
He has directed almost all the top stars in the industry.
He was nominated as the Rep of Film Producers Association of Ghana onto the governing board and his nomination was approved by the Presidency after a thorough scrutiny.
The fourteen member board is expected to deliver the Presidents vision for the film industry.
The Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council congratulates Mr. Zacakria for this amazing feat and wishes him well in his new role.
